On the wings of her debut album, "A Thousand Words," Deena follows in the high profile career spotlight of her musical parents, Jimmy Miller the legendary producer (Rolling Stones, Traffic, Blind Faith) and Gayle 

Shepherd, member of the singing group "The Shepard Singers" (who had the million-selling single"Alone" in 1956). By the age of eight, Deena started singing, writing and playing the guitar. Although she has recorded and performed her own material over the years and even managed to fit in a world tour with Rock legend Meatloaf as his featured vocalist, Deena has also performed and or recorded with Yoko Ono, Donna Summer, Norah Jones, Paul Shaffer and others.

Deena is currently promoting her CD, and stays busy as the director & host of the longest running showcase for female singer songwriters (www.chicksingernight.com) monthly at NY’s Bitter End. Deena's music is also featured in the non for profit CD "It's About Eve" (www.itsabouteve.org) with Joan Jett, raising money for breast cancer research. www.deenamiller.com.
